Behavior Technician (Trainee)

Autism, Advocacy, and Intervention (AAI) is looking for a highly motivated individuals to join our team as part and full time Behavior Therapists (Behavior Technicians). We are seeking candidates with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who also have a strong work ethic.

The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, as our clients' needs may require schedule changes on short notice. Reliability and consistency in attendance is crucial in this role. As our organization continues to grow, we are looking for individuals who are motivated to grow as professionals and who are interested in pursuing a supervisory role in the future. We are very open to former teachers, school aides, behavioral technicians, and healthcare workers. We love working with university students who are excited to get hands on Behavior Therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis experience.

In this role, the Behavior Therapist (Behavior Technician) will use clinical knowledge and skills to implement evidence-based treatment plans, one-on-one instruction, and interventions for autistic clients. Upon hire, you will be expected to maintain a regular, reliable, and predictable attendance schedule, while understanding the possible impact of client cancellations and changes.

Qualifications/Attributes

Excellent interpersonal skills and consistent demonstration of sound judgement
Be positive and have an approachable demeanor
Be adaptable in a learning and family environment
Fun, flexible, caring, and compassionate
Be at least 18 years old
Have a high school diploma or recognized equivalent
Pass a background check and an abuse registry check
Be COMMITTED!
Must be available to work weekdays
